Alcan single layer Alhide® is designed for use in underground circuits where superior protection from mechanical abuse is required and the circuit voltage does not exceed 600 volts phase to phase. These cables may be directly buried or installed in ducts. They may be used in wet or dry locations at conductor temperatures not exceeding 90° C for normal operations, 130° C emergency overloads and 250° C for short circuit conditions.
