STABILOY® Type MC Cable with PVC Jacket (2 Conductor)

Alcan Cable’s Type MC Cable with PVC Jacket (2 Conductor) is designed for both rooftop installations and direct burial (from the combiner box to the inverter) in solar applications.

The all-in-one assembly of STABILOY® MC Cable offers fewer installation steps than traditional conduit and wire installations, dramatically reducing installation time and costs. The PVC jacket on STABILOY® MC Cable provides added durability and protection, while the strong, lightweight aluminum alloy armor weighs much less than steel armor and is easier to strip back.

Features

  • Color phase conductor identification with three wide color stripes embedded within surface of cross-linked polyethylene insulation.
  • Suitable for use in wet locations, direct burial, cable trays, encased in concrete and outdoor exposure in accordance with the recommendations of the National Electrical Code®.
  • Approved for use in certain hazardous locations as permitted in Articles 501, 502, 503 and 504 of the NEC.
  • PVC Jacket is free of harmful metals in compliance with RoHS, Directive 2002/95/EC. 
  • Meets the requirements of Underwriters Laboratories Inc., Standard #1569 for Metal-Clad Cables and Standard #44 for thermoset-insulated conductors
