Getting Started with MODEX®

The MODEX® Design and Order Process
 
Alcan Cable will custom design and pre-fabricate your electrical system per your project specifications. Upon acceptance by the contractor, we provide a complete design package that includes installation drawings, assembly builders and final cut-sheets.

The Customer Checklist provides you with the basic steps for getting started with MODEX® from the initial quote through the first installation and hot test site visits.

The Quote Process

Email the completed Request for Quote Form to Alcan Cable. Be sure to include your electrical plans, unit quantities and floor plans.

Alcan Cable will provide a quote including a cost breakdown for each room, the quantity and type of devices in each room and room counts.

The Design Process

Submit the completed Contractor Info Sheet to Alcan Cable.
Alcan Cable will provide system design diagrams and a listing of assembly buildups.
The Contractor approves and faxes the final drawings to Alcan Cable.
Alcan Cable builds the order per the contractor-approved builder/cut sheets.
