ALHIDE® 600 Volt 90°C Single Layer Ruggedized Cables

Alcan Cable’s single layer ALHIDE® ruggedized cables bring our outstanding performance and reliability to your underground electrical delivery circuits. Our registered ALHIDE® technology utilizes cross-linked high-density polyethylene to protect your underground circuits from damage that can occur during or after installation. Since every 600-volt distribution application is different, our cables are available in a full range of sizes. Cables are available with one, two, or three phase conductors twisted with a neutral, and without an overall covering. The neutral is equal in size to, or two sizes smaller than, the phase conductors.

Features

  • Meets or exceeds ANSI/ICEA S-81-570 and S-105-692 requirements
  • Designed for use in circuits carrying 600 volts or less
  • Useful in duct or direct-burial applications in wet or dry environments
  • 90°C maximum conductor temperature under normal conditions, 130°C for emergency overloads, 250°C for short circuit conditions
